Case study: truffles
Alpha Agriculture Technologies is supporting a long-standing player in the truffle sector, whose development has been hampered by scientific (yield variability) and financial limitations.
Researchers at our subsidiary Plant Sciences Integrator are conducting research to develop new varieties of truffle plants and homogenize soils in order to provide yield guarantees that are unique in the market.
The aim is twofold: to improve truffle plants and simplify harvesting, and to collect all the truffles produced (estimated 40% of truffles not found per tree).
Case study: vanilla
A leading broker and processor of bourbon vanilla has called on Alpha Agriculture Technologies to create a new, integrated model for the production and processing of natural vanilla. The company’s objective is to find a partner with the technological and agronomic expertise to move away from the current artisanal structure and optimize the entire value chain, from harvesting to pollination and extraction.
